Key losses: The biggest loss for the Knights will be on their attack. With All-American honorable mentions Tom Costanza and Mike Cintineo gone, the team will rely on junior Craig Lange and sophomore Brendan Kurpis to pick up the slack. On defense, honorable mention All-American junior Joe May returns. May was a disruptive force last spring, causing 21 turnovers and picking up 31 groundballs.

Key losses: The biggest loss for the team has to be Maggie Morris. Last year, Morris set a Geneseo single-season record with 79 points and 62 goals on her way to first-team All-SUNYAC honors. Morris was also a defensive force, causing 26 turnovers. Another area where the Knights will have questions is in the net. Geneseo will rely on untested sophomore Annie Smith to protect the net. Smith played in only three games last spring.
Key Games: March 2 home opener versus SUNY Oneonta. March 9 vs. No. 14 SUNY Cortland. April 13 vs. No. 17 St. John Fisher College.
Key losses: While the distance team is as strong as ever for the Knights, the team lost Ryan Mulcahy, who placed second in the 10,000-meter race at last year's SUNYAC meet. Geneseo will also need to make up for the loss of Craig Harlacher who placed third at the SUNYAC meet in both the 100-meter and 200-meter races.

Key losses: The women's track team is one of the few teams that haven't been hit hard by graduating seniors, save for the departure of distance runners Laura Iafrati and Danielle Hunt.

Key losses: A serious deficit for the team will be the lack of experience on the mound. Last year Montera shared the load with Kerry Kuhn, and the team will need a young hurler to step up and shoulder some of the responsibilities. Geneseo will also miss the talents of leadoff hitter Niki Steger, who tallied 27 runs and 22 walks along with seven stolen bases last year.
