After receiving news that they were banned from postseason play, the Ice Knights responded by finishing out the rest of their season 6-0-1. They topped this streak off with a 3-1 upset of the top-ranked team in the country in front of their home crowd. Sophomore Jake Yard scored on a blast from the point on the power play at 17 minutes, 27 seconds of the second period for the game-winning goal with fellow sophomore Stefan Decosse picking up the assist. It was Oswego's second loss of the year and their first - and only - loss in SUNYAC play.

Gallagher, competing in his first injury-free season in two years, set four school records on his was to provisionally qualifying for the NCAA Division III championship meet this weekend.
Along with setting records in the 400 and 500-meter race Gallagher was part of the 4x400-meter relay team and the distance medley relay team. For his efforts he received first team All-SUNYAC along with four other members of the men's team.

The winter season at Geneseo held a plethora of talented female athletes, but best by a long shot was Rodriguez. She led the Blue Wave to their third straight SUNYAC title this winter. She took the individual title in the 500, 200 and 100 freestyle and was the anchoring leg of the first-place 800 freestyle relay team. Rodriguez was also the starting leg of the champion 400 freestyle relay team. This dominating swimmer competed in three other relays, placing within the top three teams of each of the three meets.

This speedy sensation lit up the Ira S. Wilson Ice Arena this winter with his speed and stick skills. Iwamoto, who played for the Japanese Under-20 National team, had seven goals and 12 assists for 19 points in 21 games this season, including two game-winning goals. He also had four goals in conference play, tying him for third on the team.

On her way to earning first team All-SUNYAC honors, Green made quite a splash at the SUNYAC championship meet this year. Along with a first-place finish in the 1,650 freestyle race, Green was part of a second-place 800 freestyle relay team. She rounded out her conference title performance with a second-place finish in the 500 freestyle and a third-place finish in the 400 individual medley.

Prevosti was chosen by his peers as the SUNYAC Men's Indoor Track Coach of the Year for his role in leading his team to their first conference title since 2006. Prevosti's squad blew away the competition, scoring nearly 60 points more than the second place finisher.
On the women's side, Prevosti pushed his team to a second place finish in the conference championship. The Knights fell just three points shy of taking home their first conference title since 2006.
