On Wednesday, Oct. 27, Democratic candidate for New York State Senate Cynthia Appleton came to Geneseo to answer students' questions about issues facing New York's 59th State Senate district during this election season. Near the beginning of the event, Student Association Director of Student Affairs senior Will Labate stood up with the rest of the SA executive board and read a statement of student interests which they felt should be represented in Albany.
