Psychology major junior Charlene Canale (pictured above) vocalizes the awe she experienced as she saw the student body come together at the recent open forum.
“So, I went to the Open Forum—last Thursday I think it was. Watching all those students come together, we’ve never actually had that kind of experience as a campus before—mostly because we don’t usually have open forums for students to talk at. So, actually watching the student body come together was very, very eye-opening to me to see that everyone is having these issues and that we’re all coming together. I think that’s the strongest I’ve felt as a community in Geneseo; [I also learned] about new issues I didn’t know about. I’m a psychology major, so I didn’t know about the renovations in Brodie. So, yeah, I think the open forum was really good, [and] I really enjoyed it.”
