Some atheists believe that religion has no place in the world. They hold that in the modern era, religion is a cause of conflict that exists only to provide alternate explanations of phenomena that have been empirically proven otherwise. I am not one of those atheists.

Every day we see colleges, students and the government all point their fingers at each other in an attempt to explain why the cost of higher education skyrockets every year.

With unemployment at record levels, and cash - or lack thereof - at the forefront of everyone's mind, we should rethink the upcoming gift exchange that most people seem to have a different name for these days.
