Wolf presentation draws packs of students to KnightSpot

As most learn about wolves through fairy tales which portray these animals as villainous predators, it's rare to actually come in contact with one. This past Thursday evening, a full crowd in the KnightSpot met two live wolves through "Howling at the Moon," a program put on by the World of Wildlife Educational Encounters organization. The co-ed service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega hosted the event.

8th Annual Memory Walk draws hundreds and raises thousands

This past Saturday morning, Oct. 13, the Blue Knights chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary hosted the Memory Walk at Doty Park. Despite the cold weather, over 200 walkers attended the event and raised close to $8,000 for the Alzheimer's Association of Rochester.

A Day in the Life of... Construction Workers

Due to ongoing projects to improve the college campus, construction workers are a constant presence at Geneseo. Though many students complain about the giant piles of dirt blocking their path to the Union, or about the sounds of cranes and trucks early in the morning, construction workers provide a valuable service for a minor inconvenience. Between shifts, several construction workers - who requested to be identified by first name only - offered a glimpse into their lives.

Under the Knife: Elementary and Secondary Education Association

Education is one of the most popular fields of study at Geneseo, and a large number of education majors turn to the Elementary and Secondary Education Association (ESEA), a student-run organization that offers insight into the School of Education and working with children.
