Shortly after the New Year began, progressive rock group The Mars Volta released their fourth full-length album, The Bedlam in Goliath, with the intention of letting their listeners partake in cryptic mysteries and curse-reversing songs.

Finally, after a two-week delay, the fourth Avenged Sevenfold album has filled the shelves of local media stores. Originally set to release on Oct. 16, the release date of this self-titled album was pushed backed to Oct. 30, supposedly due to the need for extra work on the production and layout of the black and white cartoons filling every other page of the album's liner notes.

Wadsworth Auditorium resonated with blues last Saturday as the Clayton Miller Band fired up some soulful tunes for the Geneseo community. Originally from Lafayette, Ind., Clayton, Cole, LD and father Larry entertained a full and lively auditorium with a mix of original songs and Southern classics.

A small crowd meandered into the Knightspot Thursday night as the Syracuse-based band Long Since Forgotten warmed up their equipment.
