Coming off a 13-12 victory against the Rochester Institute of Technology on March 27, the Geneseo women’s lacrosse team looked to continue the momentum going into their next game versus the 17th ranked William Smith College Herons. The Knights traveled to Geneva to take on the Herons and Geneseo fell 13-10.

In May 2018, the Geneseo women’s lacrosse team found themselves with a disappointing end to their season: a loss in the SUNYAC semifinal. The momentum leading up to that game, however, was never lost and has propelled the team to begin this season with three straight wins.

For three long days in late February, the Geneseo swimming and diving team put their season on the line to compete at the SUNYAC Championships. Unsurprisingly, both the men’s and women’s teams returned to Geneseo this past Saturday as champions.

Geneseo is home to one of the most dominant, tight-knit and driven teams in the SUNYAC. Geneseo’s swimming and diving team has racked up accolades for years and is consistently recruiting top tier talent. This season, which began in October 2018, saw the men’s team win or place second in eight out of nine meets while the women placed first in all but one of their nine meets, where they came in second.
