The Geneseo women's Blue Wave team returned from the NCAA Championships in Shenandoah, Texas with 15 All-American honors.
All-American awards recognize the top 16 finishers in each individual and relay event.
Sophomore Abby Max highlighted the results, garnering five All-American honors. In individual races, she became an All-American in the 200 freestyle and the 500 freestyle.
Max also anchored three relay races. Sophomore Haleigh Wixson, junior Kaitlin Wilcoxen, junior Lily Powell and Max placed ninth in the 400 medley relay.
The 800 freestyle relay earned All-American recognition with a 14th-place finish. The quartet of Max, Wixson, senior Elyssa Max and junior Corrine Vairo completed the race in 7 minutes, 37.20 seconds.
The 200 medley relay swam to 15th place. Wixson, junior Molly Carney, sophomore Eileen Goralski and Abby Max finished in 1:46.85.
Wilcoxen earned a second All-American honor in the 200 breaststroke, finishing the race in 2:20.48, good for 13th place.
The Knights finished tied for 20th place overall among 53 teams.
