The Geneseo men’s lacrosse team lost its season opener to St. John Fisher College on Tuesday Feb. 19. This is coming off of last year’s late-season success when the team went 6-1 down the stretch – with all of those games featuring SUNYAC opponents.

Men’s basketball primed for breakout year
The Geneseo men's basketball team opens the 2011-12 season on Nov. 15 against Medaille College. After a disappointing 11-14 (5-13) record in the 2010-11 season, head coach Steve Minton is looking forward to starting anew, after only graduating two seniors and bringing in a talented freshman crop.
