On April 20, School of Education professor Michael Rozalski delivered a lecture titled "School Violence Prevention: Investigating the Efficacy of a Multi-Year, Tiered Intervention in Local Schools."

As the May 1 deadline approaches, some 3,700 high school seniors must decide whether or not to accept Geneseo's offer of admission and become a part of the Geneseo class of 2015.

Six undergraduate students will receive fellowships from the Geneseo Foundation and Follett Higher Education Group for this summer. The fellowships provide a $3,000 stipend that students can use to conduct independent research under the supervision of a Geneseo faculty member.

In reaction to state budget cuts, State University of New York Chancellor Nancy Zimpher proposed a plan in January that will alter key components of current SUNY policy.

According to a recent study conducted by the organization Outside the Classroom, the percentage of incoming college freshman abstaining from alcohol use has risen from 38 to 62 percent between 2006 and 2010.

This year the Geneseo Foundation in conjunction with Follett Higher Education Group will award six $3,000 stipends for its summer fellowship – $500 more than has been gifted per recipient in past years.
