Frugal Foodie: Banana Cream Cookies

Looking for something sweet, but slightly different? Tired of standard chocolate chip cookies?  Try these banana cream cookies! It’s a great way to satisfy your sweet tooth with something that may be out of the norm.

Ingredients:

  1. 1/2 cup of softened butter

  2. 1 cup of granulated sugar

  3. 1 smashed banana

  4. 3.4 oz package of banana cream instant pudding mix

  5. 2 large eggs

  6. 2 1/2 cups of flour 

  7. 1/2 tsp of baking soda

  8. 1/2 tsp of salt

  9. 2 cups of white chocolate chips

How to make:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and place parchment paper on the baking sheets

  2. Combine flour, salt and baking soda. Set it aside.

  3. Combine butter and sugar and mix with an electric mixer

  4. Add banana dry pudding mix and eggs. Mix together until smooth.

  5. Pour the dry ingredients into the mixing bowl with the banana mixture and mix it slowly until it’s all incorporated. Then mix in white chocolate chips.

  6. Scoop tablespoonfuls of cookie dough onto the baking sheet.

  7. Bake for 10 minutes or until slightly golden.
