Livingston C.A.R.E.S. sends volunteers to Gulf Coast for 20th trip since Katrina

Local non-profit organization Livingston C.A.R.E.S. continued its tradition of service by taking its 20th trip to the Gulf Coast to assist with Hurricane Katrina relief over the winter break. A group of 25 worked in the area of Biloxi/Gulfport, Miss. In this group were 20 Geneseo students, three faculty members and two community members.

Geneseo climbs two spots in Kiplinger rankings

Geneseo improved its ranking on Kiplinger's Best Values in Public Colleges list for the year 2011, jumping from ninth to seventh place. The list of best values among the nation's four-year colleges for 2011 was released in Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine.
