On Saturday Nov. 12, Geneseo Chinese Culture Club welcomed a large crowd to its 17th annual China Night in the Union Ballroom.

This past weekend, the Rochester Institute of Technology hosted its annual Danse Macabre – Dance of the Dead – Halloween Ultimate Frisbee Tournament. Ultimate Frisbee teams from mostly SUNY colleges competed in the rainy, two-day tournament. Geneseo was represented by three teams at the tournament: Snail and Escargot, as well as a team comprised of Geneseo alumni.

As Halloween approaches, we all probably have some unique costume ideas planned out. Although it's still a week and a half away, there's no harm in putting those brilliant costumes to use a little early. In fact, you can support Geneseo's Colleges Against Cancer by participating in its second annual Halloween Dodgeball tournament on Wednesday Oct. 26 at 6 p.m. in Kuhl Gym.

Regardless of whether you are returning to school as an upperclassman or just settling in as a freshman, you are compelled to search for a place to live. Putnam Residence Hall, home to EcoHouse since fall 2009, is comprised of 85 members who attempt to implement positive actions toward sustainability in the Geneseo community.
