Coming off a 13-12 victory against the Rochester Institute of Technology on March 27, the Geneseo women’s lacrosse team looked to continue the momentum going into their next game versus the 17th ranked William Smith College Herons. The Knights traveled to Geneva to take on the Herons and Geneseo fell 13-10.

Women’s swimming and diving succeeds at nationals, several receive All-American honors

Members of Geneseo’s women’s swimming and diving team were able to extend their season long past its usual end date by qualifying for and competing at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships meet held March 20-23. Geneseo placed 19th overall out of 50 teams, with three individual athletes earning All-American honors.

The collapse of the Pittsburgh Steelers is in full swing. Contract negations, off-field disrespect and player feuds drove 30-year old wide receiver Antonio Brown and 27-year-old running back Le’Veon Bell out of Pittsburgh. The two players combined for 109 touchdowns and 16,543 yards for Pittsburgh over the past nine NFL seasons.
